The farce that is "spending cuts"
Ever notice how "spending cuts" always effect you and never the government?
It doesn't seem to matter which level of government either, federal, state, city, etc they all have a sort of doomsday that means the end to what we interpret as essential services provided by them that will be cut short or removed all together.
Are we really that daft to believe that the waste in government comes solely from the action end of our services, and that the long list of administration and useless desk workers are working on the most efficient shoe string budget possible?
Why don't we instead examine these areas and cut down the REAL waste in government?

How can we accurately gauge the 2014 elections?
Like many other Americans I too watched the election results of 2012 after casting my ballot earlier that day.
I found that I was severely let down, believing that the course of events that conspired before the election, with libya, you didn't build that, joe biden's endless stream of gaffes, and a collapsed economy; That a Romney lose was either going to be a land slide, or an Obama win was going to be a squeaker.
It turned out to be neither of those, at least regarding the electoral vote.
I was in a state of mental dreaming as if I needed to wake up from some nightmare post Obama reelection. For about a month I thought to myself "Is this really happening? DID Obama actually win, or am I dreaming?"
Alas, time elapsed and the "dream" or more likely a nightmare had not subsided.
The scramble of looking for reasons why Romney lost the election was even more disheartening. Accusations of him not connecting with minorities and women, the stream of taunting from childish Paul bots, etc sent my brain into a state of total disbelief.
How could a nation that had been suffering a worse fate then under it's previous president, possibly re-elect a man, legitimately, that is leading us over a cliff?
I'm certainly not the first to admit that the GOP has become soft, and has unfortunately listened to liberal pundits and decided that appealing to their audience is the right thing to do, has left real conservatives without a party we actually support.
It no longer matters that many of the 08' Obama voters stayed home during this election, when plenty of 08' Obama, 00-04' Bush voters stayed home or voted for Ron Paul/Gary Johnson.
What we must now focus on is how we can win the 2014 election, or at the very least keep the seats we have in the House and prevent the president from further ruining this nation, leaving it's populous a poor and pitiful standard of living, worse then that of Europe.
I know what you're thinking, "You just said you no longer support the GOP, yet you want to keep them in power? Why?"
The simple answer is even though I don't agree with what the GOP is doing, I still believe they will be less damaging then the Democrats.
I don't see the logic in letting things get far, far worse then they need to be for this country, rather then attempting to slow down the process.
YES, I realize that we need to stop it completely, but with our modern lifestyles, and extreme lack of care in making yourself educated about what's going on in the US, let alone the world, that doesn't exactly seem feasible.
If it is time for a third party to take the lime light away from the Republicans and focus on the real issues at hand, let it be so.
However I think it will end up coming out like this past election, but far worse.
Imagine if you will, if a party like the Tea Party or Libertarian party were to wedge themselves into Congress.
We would lose votes to the Libertarians/Tea Party and concede the election to the Democrats, accomplishing nothing.
What ever we choose, has to be a unified effort.
If we hope to further the goal, we MUST do it all at once otherwise we will sink faster then we are already sinking.
Since no plans have been made to do this yet, I am still sticking with the lesser of the two evils since they are less likely to drill as many holes in our metaphorical boat known as the United States, and cause us to sink.
They're still going to drill holes, but FEWER of them.

What was MLK's dream about?
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have many a time thought what exactly did Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. mean by his words in this speech, and in his overall teachings that seem to be so paraded around by liberals and affirmative action supporters, as well as white liberal apologetics (race wise, not religious)
Was Dr. King's dream such that people should be forced to live in mixed race neighborhoods, or that society should be forced to elevate the stature of certain individuals because of the color of their skin?
Does anyone else see how racism is still very much alive and well, but has now reversed itself into a platform for those of black skin color to become superior to whites?
I had always believed and interpreted MLK's teachings to mean a man or woman, no matter what color, creed, etc has the same rights as any other person, and should have the same opportunities as everyone else.
I however do not see the connection that is so often made, that because people of black skin color were essentially treated far worse by society then any other race, that they deserve special privileges and advantages, which in the minds of liberals, would boost their stature and accomplishments to that of whites and exceed them.
This method of thinking has invaded our government and our schools. For example both I and a fellow classmate who are of white or partially white skin color were put in honors classes because the school didn't have enough whites to meet the school district requirement.
As a result I received a pretty poor education for a few years because the material was uninteresting and way above my skill level at the time. Was that worth it? Was my education worth sacrificing so the school could meet some requirement to please some politician, and give them a data point they can rattle off at their next re-election campaign rally?
The particular line that sticks in my mind from MLK's I Have a Dream speech is:
"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character".
Funny how those of us who judge the president by his character, by his actions as a president, are thought of as racist for not supporting anything he does. Yet it was perfectly fine to blame Bush for these same reasons, despite him doing things on a much, much smaller scale.
I guess bad presidents can only be white. Black presidents, no matter what actions they take or what character they have are the best presidents we'll ever have in this country, simply because they're black.
As for any ridicule that may come of my stance, accusing my family at one time owning slaves, I'm about to dispel any thought of that.
On my father's side of the family, our family arrived in the US at the start of WWI. I believe it was my Great Great Great Grandfather who came here to avoid being drafted into the Imperial German army.
Last I checked slavery was abolished long before WWI even started.
As for my mother's side of the family, her father and all her siblings came over right before Mao Zedong began the Great Leap Forward campaign which would have killed them, considering they lived in a village of poor farmers.
So what was that about owning slaves? Sorry, no one in my ancestral lineage owned slaves, and actually more then likely my family may have at one point BEEN slaves by some Chinese land owner.

I don't side with Dorner, nor do I side with the LAPD
Regarding the manhunt surrounding Chris Dorner and the ineptitude of the LAPD, I'd like to say I don't side with either.
Chris Dorner released a manifesto, which had been edited up until the official police copy was released, which omitted a very important anti-gun rant paragraph Dorner included:
So that coupled with the killing of four police officers leads me to believe anyone who thinks Dorner is some hero who is exposing the corruption of the LAPD is a nut case.
Get a grip folks, the man was a murderer and could have easily gotten media attention exposing whatever corruption via his first amendment rights. There's no reason why he had to jump the gun and resort to violence, killing other police officers.
I'm tired of the facebook posts admiring Dorner as some hero silenced by the globalist, zionist, whateverist masters of the world. There have been so many cases of people speaking out against corruption and not being silenced, that this specific incident doesn't prove otherwise. Get it out of your minds that Dorner was also some champion of the 2nd amendment. Clearly the quote from the manifesto proves he's not on your side when it comes to guns.
Now here's the reasons I don't support the LAPD. In this whole time, they've proven themselves to be absolutely clueless and wreckless, blood and power thirsty assholes.
Why do I say this? Probably because they shot up two trucks containing innocent people, not to mention they were driving different color trucks then the one Dorner burned up, and NONE OF THEM WERE BLACK.
Let us also not forget the Lowe's lock down in Northridge where they held a store full of people hostage and would not let them leave using their own cars.
Let us also not forget the police searched every vehicle coming out of Big Bear while the cabin was on fire.
And now with the help of the media, they've said the hunt is over but have yet to ID the body they recovered.
Something about this whole situation seems fishy to me, and I won't believe Dorner is dead until the coroner releases his report.
I just can't believe that a military veteran who served two tours in Kuwait, and served as a police officer, as well as trained the officers that went after him, would resort to such lowly bank robber/hostage taker tactics.
Do we really believe that Dorner, someone who evaded capture for over a week would corner himself and actually hide out in a single spot?
Now don't get me wrong, it is entirely possible that this could have happened, but why? What reason would he have to let himself be killed like that with such a lengthy manifesto written, swearing to kill a hit list's worth of cops?
We may never know, the media jumping the shark and claiming a victory for the LAPD doesn't help the situation, trying to make us forget the amount of absolute waste in resources, man power, and money devoted to finding ONE MAN, not to mention the destruction of property, endangerment of innocent civilians, violation of 10th amendment rights, and overall a disgusting show of dominance over people they're supposed to be protecting and SERVING.

If you had a well regulated AWB, this would not happen. The time is now to reinstitute a ban that will save lives. Why does any sportsman need a 30 round magazine for hunting? Why does anyone need a suppressor? Why does anyone need a AR15 rifle? I was able to use a trust account that I created on quicken will maker and a $10 notary charge at a mailbox etc. to obtain them legally. Granted, I am not a felon, nor have a DV misdemeanor conviction or active TRO against me on a NCIC file. I can buy any firearm I want, but should I be able to purchase these class III weapons (SBR’s, and suppressors) without a background check and just a $10 notary signature on a quicken will maker program? The answer is NO. I’m not even a resident of the state i purchased them in. Lock n Load just wanted money so they allow you to purchase class III weapons with just a notarized trust, military ID. Shame on you, Lock n Load. NFA and ATF need new laws and policies that do not allow loopholes such as this. In the end, I hope that you will realize that the small arms I utilize should not be accessed with the ease that I obtained them. Who in there right mind needs a (expletive) silencer‼ who needs a freaking SBR AR15? No one. No more Virginia Tech, Columbine HS, Wisconsin temple, Aurora theatre, Portland malls, Tucson rally, Newtown Sandy Hook. Whether by executive order or thru a bi-partisan congress an assault weapons ban needs to be re-instituted. Period‼

Sen. Feinstein, you are doing the right thing in leading the re-institution of a national AWB. Never again should any public official state that their prayers and thoughts are with the family. That has become cliche’ and meaningless. Its time for action. Let this be your legacy that you bestow to America. Do not be swayed by obstacles, antagaonist, and naysayers. Remember the innocent children at Austin, Kent, Stockton, Fullerton, San Diego, Iowa City, Jonesboro, Columbine, Nickel Mines, Blacksburg, Springfield, Red Lake, Chardon, Aurora, and Newtown. Been busy
Just a status update to say I'm not dead.
Those of you subscribed to my youtube channel probably already know that.
I've got some more videos in the works and have been occupied with studying the political climate.
This recent list of executive orders has me worried, and makes me think we may once again lose freedoms in the name of security.
Some of them I agree with, but the premise is the same as usual, the democrats selling the pro-gun population as dangerous lunatics to those who have been lulled into the anti-gun drum beat and wouldn't set foot in a gun range or gun shop if their life depended on it.
We must never give up our freedoms for security, or we shall be enslaved.

The Degradation of Society
Let me preface this with saying these are my thoughts and my thoughts alone. I'm not encouraging any behavior, nor should anyone take what I'm about to say as instruction or guidance.
The farther left we get with our ideas, our practices and our values, the faster we head towards a totalitarian state, or at the very least a very restricted miserable socialist state.
The problem is raising our own kids to be the best people they can be, teach them what's right and wrong, and show them why isn't good enough. If you only have two children, at best you're only replacing yourself with two upstanding citizens that will continue to be outnumbered by the over-breeding brain dead masses that will some day make up the majority of this nation.
I personally believe the intelligent people of the world produce less offspring and sacrifice quantity for quality, while the stupid which have no regard for monetary savings or resources, have as many children as they want, let society raise them and off they go into society to increase the moronic liberal population ten fold.
I'm not going to name names, but specific ethnic groups (although all ethnic groups contain a population of these morons) produce far more liberal, government tit sucking leeches then any other.
And quite unfortunately as was proved with our last election, they're in the slight majority.
Honestly, if we continue down this path, there's no hope left for the United States of America.

Why gun bans/restrictions don't work
It's rather ironic if you think about it. Gun bans have failed ever since their inception.
Starting with the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act:

Is that really enough to say that we need to infringe on the rights of the millions of gun owners to pass legislation that doesn't solve the problem it intended to solve?
Out right gun bans don't work either. Look at the city of Chicago. Highest murder rate of any city and guns are COMPLETELY OUTLAWED.
How far down the road of tyranny do we need to go before people wake up and realize GUN LAWS DON'T WORK?
